The Valor Fitness Long Squat Bar is constructed of high-quality steel for strength and durability during the heaviest of squats. The 25 KG barbell and 165,000 tensile strength meets and is certified by the USPA (United States Powerlifting Association). Heavy duty bushings in each sleeve with a protective rubber ring on the collar to help protect the collars. The aggressive knurling along the full length of the shaft allows the athlete to feel connected to the barbell, taking out the fear of the bar slipping down your back and out of position on a lift. The longer 56.5" shaft prevents weight plates from hitting the rack uprights while unracking or racking the barbell, and allows lifters to position their hands outside of the rack uprights, a common position for powerlifters. The 32 MM diameter steel shaft creates more surface area on the back to allow the bar to maximize grip to the athletes back, maximizing points of contact on your back, posterior deltoids, and trapezius creating the most secure position and connection possible. Each collar measures 2" in length housing a dual brass bushing system that reduces spin, which is ideal for strength focused powerlifting. The 16.7" of loadable sleeve length, each with fine grooves, ensures your steel or bumper plates won't slide during your squat workout. The Back Squat Bar is not meant to be dropped, with a recommended max weight of 2,000 lbs. It is strictly meant for back squats, and not designed for deadlifting, bench press, or any Olympic weightlifting or cross training movements. Its 94" in length prevents weight plates from hitting the uprights while racking or unracking the bar.
