Measuring 86.75" long with 15.25" of loadable sleeve length and weighing 44lbs, this barbell features 2 bushings - one per sleeve - to ensure smooth, stable rotations during lifts, providing a great "whip" action to enhance each lift.
Constructed of steel for strength and durability, this 20kg/44lb barbell has a tensile strength of 130,000 PSI and a recommended 700lb max weight load. The chrome-plated sleeves have 15.25" of loadable sleeve length to accommodate weight plates. Featuring a smooth chrome sleeve, this 28MM weightlifting barbell is designed to minimize plate sliding during lifts.
With a standard light knurling grip and knurl-free guide marks, as well as a center knurling, this barbell ensures a strong, firm grip during heavy lifts such as the bench press or squats. The volcano knurling holds weightlifting chalk well for enhanced grip, and the center knurling is ideal for back squat grip.
The OB-86-700SB is the perfect barbell for performing basic bench press and front or back squats in any home gym or light-commercial gym. However, it is not designed for cross-training movements and is not meant to be dropped. This makes it an ideal starter barbell or a genuinely standard barbell for any lifting activities.
